QU SHOW IN CHANTILLY VA 2014
Auntie Ju's Quilt Shoppe is at the 41st Annual Quilt Show by Quilters Unlimited, True Blue. The show goes through tomorrow at 4pm at the Dulles Expo and Conference Center in Chantilly VA. We have new projects for you to see, so please stop in and see us!
There are over 600 beautiful quilts and wearable art/clothing items on exhibit. You'll also find over 70 retail vendors offering fabric, notions, wool, etc.
Additional features include a beautiful Dear Jane raffle quilt, member made Boutique items and free educational demos.
Quilters Unlimited is a nonprofit organization of quilters, with all chapters and activities in Northern Virginia. Founded in 1972, the organization has grown to 11 chapters, unified by a central Board of Directors. Membership includes women and men of all ages, traditionalist and contemporary quilters, beginners to renowned experts.
The theme of this year's show is 'True Blue'. QU members were challenged to create a quilt for the show using any number of blue fabrics paired with just one other color. In addition to this guild-wide challenge, individual chapters will be unveiling their own challenges.
