This kit contains all fabric needed to finish this quilt, including the backing.  Most of the fabrics used are Civil War Reproductions.

This quilt, made of twelve 4 1/2" pieced blocks set on point, is named for the designer's niece, Abby.  She has a collection of lovely gowns made of beautifully colored fabrics that she wore to various high school dances and proms.  Had Abby lived during the Civil War era, the fabric choices for her gowns may have looked like those showcased in the blocks in this quilt.  The quilt finishes at approx. 27" x 33".
